KARACHI: On Saturday, Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin, the head of the Dawoodi Bohra community, left Pakistan after around three weeks of visitation.
To bid him farewell, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah and Governor Kamran Khan Tessori visited the airport in Karachi. Saifuddin thanked the powerful people in the province for their affection and sincerity on this particular occasion.
He remarked, “I will never forget the intense love you showed me when I first arrived in Pakistan and when I left [this place],” adding that he was leaving Pakistan in their genuine love.
The spiritual leader met the president and other Pakistani officials while he was in Karachi.
On Friday, Saifuddin paid President Asif Ali Zardari a visit at the Bilawal House in Karachi.Speaking at the event, President Zardari praised the Bohra community’s contributions and stated that they were crucial to Pakistan’s socioeconomic growth.
According to the president, the community is actively involved in Pakistan’s business and economic sectors.
President Zardari praised the Bohra community’s contributions to the fields of education, health, and other fields. He also valued Saifuddin’s contributions to Pakistan’s social services sector.
