The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Monday that a violent crowd operating under the cover of “Baloch Raji Muchi” attacked security forces’ troops in the Gwadar province of Balochistan, resulting in the death of at least one soldier and the injuries of sixteen others, including an officer.
In today’s Gwadar district of Balochistan, security forces troops carrying out their duty were attacked by a violent mob dressed in the attire of the so-called Baloch Raji Muchi or Baloch National Gathering, which was convened by the Balochistan Yakjehti Committee (BYC).
As a result, it said, Sepoy Shabbir Baloch, a 30-year-old resident of the Sibi area, accepted shahadat.
Additionally, sixteen soldiers, including an officer, have been injured as a result of the aggressive demonstrators’ unjustified attacks, according to the ISPR.Furthermore, the ISPR claimed that in an effort to incite sympathy and support for the illegal, violent march, propagandists are utilizing altered images and videos to disseminate false and malicious information on social media.
It said that the mob’s violent acts are abhorrent and that those involved will face consequences. “Security forces have displayed extreme restraint to avoid unwarranted civilian casualties despite provocations,” the statement stated.
The media branch of the military also appealed on all civilians to resist the propaganda, preserve composure and harmony, and work with law enforcement to uphold public safety and order.
