Allama Iqbal Airport was visited by a federal cabinet committee that was tasked with examining several national airports. Several areas of Lahore Airport were examined by Federal Ministers for Aviation (Khawaja Asif) and Privatization and Communications (Abdul Aleem Khan).
Civil aviation officials were instructed to offer passengers every amenity available.
Airport Security: Passengers both inside and outside the lounge are expected to cooperate, according to instructions given to the Airport Security Force.
Khawaja Asif, the federal minister, stressed the need of being courteous to foreign travelers at immigration counters. Abdul Aleem Khan emphasized that travelers should be at desks as soon as possible to obtain approval for overseas flights.
