Britney Spears has decided not to sell her mansion in California.
The Grammy-winning singer, 42, reportedly told TMZ that she had no plans to sell her Southern California property, even after a listing appeared on many other real estate websites.
The artist’s mansion was listed for slightly under $9 million on a fictitious listing. The house was also listed on Zillow and Realtor.com, among other websites.
After being contacted by Spears’ management team to look into the situation, the agents denied having anything to do with the possible sale of the property.
After Spears’ team got involved, the phony real estate listings were taken down from the Multiple Listing Service.
The 13,264 square foot property is sprawled across 20 acres, and Spears paid $7.4 million for it when she first bought it in 2015.The Italian villa’s features include a tennis court, an infinity pool, a spa, and a sizable wine cellar.
In June 2022, Spears married her now-ex-husband, Sam Asghari, in the same home. Madonna, Selena Gomez, and Drew Barrymore were among the well-known figures in the industry there on her special day.
