On Thursday, there was a significant disruption to air travel as many international flights were delayed owing to aircraft unavailability and maintenance concerns, while several flights operated by Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), the country’s flag carrier, were cancelled.
Two PIA aircraft, flight PK-832 from Karachi and flight PK-960 from Lahore Airport, to Jeddah were reportedly canceled, according Pakistani sources. Furthermore, there was a grounded domestic flight from Karachi to Lahore.
The impact of these cancellations and delays is not limited to Pakistan; there are also notable delays associated with the arrival and departure of 26 international aircraft from different airports in Pakistan.
