The 24-year-old social media star, who happens to be Noel Gallagher’s oldest daughter, was replying to people who said that young ladies who had just lately become aware of the Manchester band should not be given the same priority as ardent fans.
After weeks of rumors, Noel and Liam Gallagher officially announced the band’s reunion on Tuesday morning.
They will now make a comeback for a run of 17 performances in the UK and Ireland, 33 years after their first performance and 15 years after the group’s contentious dissolution before of a gig in Paris.
In a TikTok post, Anais stated: “There are ageism and misogyny that I will not tolerate.
I will have my friendship bracelets ready if a 19-year-old female wearing a pink cowboy hat wants to come. I apologize.
She was reacting to a video that Josie Cannell had uploaded on TikTok, in which she claimed to have heard online complaints stating that “everyone now suddenly loves Oasis.”
She then uploaded a second video, saying that “you can’t gatekeep the most famous band to come out of the UK if we’re disregarding the Beatles” and that she was thrilled and surprised that Anais had reacted on her “Oasis hot take.”
