Sardar Akhtar Mengal, the leader of the Balochistan National Party (BNP-M), announced his resignation from the National Assembly on Tuesday due to the deteriorating circumstances in the province. He also expressed his lack of trust in the government, the president, and the prime minister.
“Today, I formally announce my resignation from the Assembly. “I took this decision after seeing the state of affairs in Balochistan,” Mengal declared in the National Assembly.
The politician expressed regret that he was unable to assist the people of the province and stated that he did not trust the system as a whole. They have not been granted the authority to rule for a year.
“People are not interested in the issues of Balochistan, and every time this issue is raised, we face a blackout,” he remarked. “This assembly is not attentive.”
