On Thursday, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) experienced tremors from a magnitude 5.0 earthquake, which sent people running out of their houses in terror.
The epicenter of the earthquake, according to the Seismological Centre, was situated in the Hindu Kush mountain range, and its depth was measured at 104 kilometers.
Residents in Swat, Lower Dir, and other nearby regions reported feeling the earth tremble in the impacted areas.
In spite of the magnitude of the earthquake, no area of the capital or its surrounding regions had reported any injuries or property damage.
Following the earthquake, terrified residents began reciting passages from the Holy Quran as they emerged from their houses.
