After a run-up with another dancer on Friday, the Slovenian dancer reportedly decided to exit the program in 2022, according to the Sun.
However, before the accusations appeared in the Sun, Škorjanec said in an interview with News that he departed in order “to be a great dad and a great husband.”
Škorjanec’s representative refuted the accusations, stating that it was “untrue to say or suggest he was forced out or that he acted in an aggressive manner at any time”.
Aljaž respects every person he works with to the highest degree. He decided to end the performance in show.
This year, he is eager to get back on the dance floor.”
A source claimed that after a night out during the Strictly Come Dancing live tour in 2022, there had been “a pretty shocking altercation with another female dancer” in the Sun report.
Regarding the reported event, Studios chose not to comment.
In 2013, Škorjanec became a professional dancer and joined Strictly. After taking a two-year hiatus that began in 2022, it was revealed in July that he would be returning to the show this year.
Before the Sun’s article was published, Škorjanec stated in a lengthy interview that he and his wife, It Takes Two host Janette Manrara, were “desperate to become parents.”
According to him, “It was always something that we both really, really wanted.”
