A significant international network of human trafficking involving Indian and Afghan citizens has been brought to an end by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Lahore Circle, acting on a confidential agency tip.
The operation was praised as a historic success by Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, who revealed that the network had ties to numerous international criminal organizations.
It was discovered that the gang had ties to people who had applied for political asylum in other nations and were still supported by the group.
The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) claims that the traffickers used an advanced printing equipment to create fictitious documents for a number of different nations. These fake documents were used to trick people into believing they would be employed abroad, taking advantage of those who were weaker.
As officials seek to ascertain the complete scope of the FIA’s investigation, more arrests are expected.
