According to China’s Foreign Ministry, a meeting aimed at achieving a blueprint for the future of the Palestinian people would only be successful if the outcomes are “binding.”
“As for the timing and venue of the conference and where it will be hosted, I think it needs to be determined by all parties through consultation,” Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning said at a news conference in Beijing.
She declared, “China also welcomes the United Nations’ active role in this regard.”
In order to establish a timeline for implementing a two-state solution for the Israel-Palestine issue, China’s top diplomat, Wang Yi, advocated for a decisive peace summit.
