KARACHI: The three 12th Rabi ul Awal processions that are scheduled for today have prompted the Karachi Traffic Police to draft a thorough traffic diversion plan, advising city commuters to seek alternative routes.
The MA Jinnah Road and the surrounding streets will be blocked for the day to accommodate the three processions that are held on the day of Eid Milad un Nabi every year, according to the police.
One processione will start at 3 p.m., and the other two at 2:30 p.m. It’s conceivable that all of these processions will last until late Tuesday night.
While the second procession will leave from Memon Masjid and end at Gulzar-e-Habib Masjid, the first procession will begin at Kharadar Masjid.
