Customers first reported encountering problems on Friday, September 20, which were initially blamed to a network outage disrupting connectivity.
MoneyGram announced on Monday that it has discovered a cybersecurity problem affecting specific systems following additional examination.
The corporation said in a post on X that it was conducting an investigation and that several services had been taken offline, which had an impact on network connectivity.
The company also stated that it was attempting to get our systems back up and running again.
