For Pashtun Culture Day 2024, Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan North arranged events in a number of districts, including Chaman, Quetta, Zhob, Qila Saifullah, Harnai, Ziarat, and Kohlu. The purpose of the gatherings was to promote and protect Pashtun customs and cultural heritage.
In many schools across these regions, seminars and cultural events were held. To celebrate the day, FC Balochistan worked with local communities and tribal elders.
During the festivities, there were booths with traditional clothing, jewelry, and food. In addition, participants took part in cultural games and watched performances of Attan, a traditional Pashtun dance.
The purpose of this yearly celebration is to promote awareness of and preservation of the distinctive way of life, traditions, and cultural practices of the Pashtun people.
