A weather notice has been issued by Punjab’s Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) in anticipation of a new rain system arriving in Pakistan today.
The Punjab DMA states that most areas will see extensive rainfall, and that there may be high gusts and thunderstorms through October 1.
Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Mandi Bahauddin, Gujranwala, Sheikhupura, Faisalabad, and Lahore are among the cities anticipated to be impacted.
It is probable that these regions will see overcast sky with blustery gusts and significant precipitation.
Residents have been cautioned that this is a risky time for flash floods, waterlogging, and disruptions to normal routines.
