Both domestic and international markets saw a sharp decline in gold prices today.
Local markets in Pakistan showed a similar drop. The cost of 24 carat gold dropped to Rs275,500 from Rs500 per tola (around 11.66 grams). Likewise, the cost of ten grams of 24-karat gold decreased by Rs 428, ending at Rs 236,197.
Silver’s price did not change, in contrast to the decline in gold. At Rs2,614.88 per 10 grams and Rs3,050 per tola, the price of silver stayed constant.
Gold dropped four dollars an ounce on the global bullion market, closing at $2,653.
