On this subject, everyone will have a different viewpoint. Furthermore, it would be incorrect to assume that the drivers, either as a group or as individuals, have this view.
Verstappen, though, has spoken his opinions and said that many of the drivers agree with him.
Verstappen believes the scenario is “silly” and that the punishment he received for cursing during a press conference was “ridiculous.”
“If you can’t really be yourself to the fullest, then it’s better not to speak,” he stated. “But nobody wants that because it turns you into a robot, and that’s not the proper way to approach the sport. It should be possible for you to express your feelings. That’s the main purpose of racing. any kind of sports.
Verstappen made it apparent that receiving a community service punishment for using a profanity on Thursday was the reason behind his choice to answer questions as briefly as possible in press conferences following qualifying and the Singapore race.
