Justice Naeem Akhtar Afghan has completed the formation of the enlarged bench of the Supreme Court to hear the Article 63A review case.
The judgment was made when Justice Afghan was added to the bench by the Practice Procedure Committee, which met at 9 a.m., since Justice Mansoor Ali Shah was unable to attend.
The original nominee for the bench was Justice Mansoor; however, due to his unavailability, Justice Afghan was selected to complete the five-member panel. Chief Justice of Pakistan Qazi Faez Isa made this suggestion. The matter was set for hearing by the bigger bench at 11:30 a.m.
This comes after two letters sent by Justice Muneeb Akhtar, a member of the bigger bench, were recently made public.
