The host of the nature program has previously received threats, had a car set on fire outside his gates, and had dead crows strung up outside his house.
The 62-year-old, along with co-hosts Michaela Strachan and Iolo Williams, presents on the wildlife show, which made a return appearance on Tuesday night.
Packham told the Mirror, “We’ve had specific threats for me a couple of times recently, before the Watches.”
“So we’ve had a person who’s there and stays at the hotel, and then goes with me to the place.”
Packham is rumored to be accompanied by the bodyguard both during and after filming.
“I’ve reported them to the police, and we obviously have their email address.
“The police have acknowledged receiving them, but I haven’t heard back from them. We’ve thus had two in the past month that have threatened to harm you and your family.””We have had several threats recently that are not death threats but they’re saying, ‘We’re going to harm you’,” he stated.
“And they surprisingly originate from emails.
