Unicef UK stated News it had never been a partner of Fashion for Relief, and had not received any monies from an event that was hosted in 2019 supposedly to raise money for it.
Unicef provided the Charity Commission with a “serious incident report” in 2022, the commission said.
Following the regulator’s discovery that funds were being used for opulent hotels and spa services, the model was barred from serving as a trustee for a charity last week.
Regarding Unicef’s allegation, neither Campbell nor Fashion for Relief have answered a request for comment.
In 2019, Fashion for Relief staged a fashion show and auction at the British Museum with the goal of raising funds for the Mayor’s Fund for London and Unicef.
However, Unicef UK issued the following statement: “We have never had an official partnership with Fashion for Relief, nor have we ever received any financial support from the 2019 event.
