Usman Qadir, a leg spinner, announced his retirement from Pakistan cricket on Thursday. He said that his time with the national team has defined his career and improved his quality of life.
The 31-year-old praised colleagues and coaches in a social media message for their help along the way.
“I would like to convey my sincere gratitude as I look back on this amazing journey, and today I am announcing my retirement from Pakistan cricket.” Representing my nation has been an enormous honor, and I am grateful for my teammates’ and coaches’ unwavering support throughout the entire process.
