Khizer Afzaal, the coordinator and head of the polio program in Punjab, conveyed his unhappiness with the deputy district health officers and union council management officers’ persistently subpar performance in a stern message sent to the province’s district health management teams.
In order to facilitate the approaching October national immunization campaign, the EOC coordinator directed the provincial EOC officials to compile a list of employees and managers in the polio human resource department who had been in their posts for an extended length of time.
According to departmental sources, the goal of reorganizing polio human resources is to improve campaign efficiency and get officials out of their “comfort zones.
