In an exclusive interview with Geo News, Pakistan Army heroes recalled their experiences during Marka-e-Haq at Pakistan’s final military station at the Line of Control (LoC), across from India’s Poonch sector.
Indian Army positions are visible beneath trees just behind the post, and the foliage between them denotes the no-man’s land, which is well fortified with landmines.
The confrontation with India from the Pahalgam attack on April 22 until the completion of Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos on May 10 is referred to as Marka-e-Haq.
Due to its three-way exposure, this post was subjected to the most shelling during the Marka-e-Haq. Numerous trees in the vicinity were broken by frequent shelling for several days before to the truce. According to soldiers, they were under constant fire from three sides for four to five days.
