JUI-F Senator Kamran Murtaza has inquired whose form of the constitutional amendment is being discussed in the media and stated that he was unsure if party chairman Maulana Fazlur Rehman agreed to vote in favor of it.
“If you are inquiring, then it has reached you but not me,” he stated during his appearance on Aaj News’ Spot Light with Munizae Jahangir.
In response to a question on media reports indicating that the head of JUI-F had “conditionally agreed” to the proposed amendments, he was speaking.
According to sources, Fazl has proposed creating a five- or six-member constitutional bench rather than taking the case before the entire constitutional court.
