Governor House in Punjab hosted the ombudswoman’s oath-taking event.
Sardar Saleem Haider Khan, the governor of Punjab, gave the ombudswoman her oath.
Rafaqat Ali Nisawana, the secretary for implementation and coordination, announced Ayesha Hamid’s appointment as Punjab’s ombudswoman.
At the ceremony were retired Capt Saqib Zafar, principal secretary to the governor, former provincial ombudsman, retired Maj Azam Suleman, former federal minister Zahid Hamid, former governor of Punjab Shahid Hamid, Jahanzaib Khan, and others.
