RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir and Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Investment, Khalid Bin Abdulaziz Al Falih, discussed ways to expand their “evergrowing brotherly” bilateral collaboration in a number of fields, according to a statement released by the military’s media wing on Thursday.
The development happened during a meeting in Rawalpindi between the army chief and the minister, who was accompanied by a delegation. According to Inter Services Public Relations, the discussion centered on issues of shared interest. (ISPR).
On October 9, a high-level team of Saudi business and government came in Pakistan for a three-day visit. The delegation was headed by the investment minister of the Kingdom.
According to the ISPR, the army chief conveyed his sincere gratitude and admiration for Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Muhammad’s unwavering support.
