According to The News, a high-level committee appointed by the Punjab government has released its initial conclusions regarding the rape of a first-year female student at a private college in Lahore.
The home secretary’s committee met with the accused victim and her parents on Tuesday for three hours at their residence.
36 people, including high authorities including Dr. Saadia Javed, the principal of the college, and DIG Operations Lahore Faisal Kamran, provided statements, which were recorded.
The purported victim and her parents stated that on October 2, she had fallen off her bed at home and sustained an injury.
Before being released from the Itttefaq Hospital, Model, she underwent treatment at a number of facilities, including the General Hospital and the Brain and Spine Clinic in Cantt.
