Sohaib Sanaullah, a player from Pakistan, won the B Division of the Lake George Scrabble Tournament in New York, USA, earning another championship for his nation.
Sohaib was the winner after putting up an incredible effort, winning 14 of the 15 games.
After a four-year break, the 22-year-old returned to competitive Scrabble after finishing his education. He was the clear winner of the competition, thus the break had little effect on his performance.
With an astounding 163 points, Sohaib not only won the B Division championship but also the prize for the greatest single move. He added to his already impressive performance when he recorded the highest single-game score of 646 points.
