The sale and purchase of black mirrored paper, non-model number plates, flashers, and HID lights have been outlawed by the district administration of Islamabad.
The city has made it unlawful to purchase or sell documents with fancy number plates or black eyeglasses. The restriction on black eyeglass use dates back to March 31, 2013, as stated in a notice released on Saturday by Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) East Mahin Baloch.
It further stated that no NOCs permitting car exemptions from this prohibition had been given by the interior ministry.
The administration has made it clear that anyone found to be in violation of these rules will face “strict legal action.”
The announcement also said that the district administration invited the public to work together and make contributions that will help make the city safer for everyone.
