The band “Berlin to Lahore” performed a German Fusion concert on Monday in the garden of the German Cultural Center in Lahore, which was arranged by the Annemarie-Schimmel-Haus (German Cultural Center). Many people from many backgrounds attended the music and gave it high marks.
The members of the Berlin to Lahore band are Thomas Rüdiger on percussion, Christoph Reuter on keyboard, and Ustad Ashraf Sharif Khan on guitar.
The band, all of whom live in Germany, last visited Pakistan ten years ago for their first shows, where they played in front of large crowds in several Pakistani towns. The band is celebrating its tenth anniversary this year and is playing in Karachi, Islamabad, and Lahore, Pakistan’s three largest cities.
