When John Travolta presented Prince Harry with the Living Legend of Aviation award, he was overcome with joy.
A senior member of the LLOA has shared insights into the mood of the Los Angeles award event.
“John was ecstatic with the way the evening went and loved having Harry come and pick up his award,” he stated. Throughout the ceremony, he did not stop grinning. It was obvious that he valued it greatly.”
“Harry was held in high regard for his actions in the military and his support of the services. “It was Harry’s night because the audience has a strong bond with those who have served their country,” he continued.
“Very touching and very sweet,” the LLOA member added, “because we all remember how gorgeous the dance was of John and Princess Diana.”
In 1985, the Grease actor and Princess Diana danced famously together.
And now John is presenting an award to Princess Diana’s son. It’s a historical event that I adore, and it was the loveliest, most moving moment ever,” he exclaimed.
During the ceremony, Prince Harry received recognition for his work as an Apache helicopter pilot in Afghanistan.
