According to a widely shared and deceptive Instagram video, US Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials forbade staff members from wearing uniforms to the polls during the November 5 election in order to prevent frightening noncitizens who were voting.
In a November 5 Instagram video, conservative commentator Ben Bergquam stated, “I just received word that in Arizona and Pennsylvania … they have received word from their superiors, they are not permitted to wear their uniform or their badges when they go to vote tomorrow.”
“And they think it’s because Joe Biden and Kamala Harris don’t want to scare illegal aliens into not voting,” he continued.
In an interview that morning with Steve Bannon, a former aide to Republican presidential nominee and former President Donald Trump, Bergquam reiterated these assertions.
