During his testimony in his murder trial on Tuesday, the father of 10-year-old Sara Sharif, who was discovered dead in her British home, denied any involvement in his daughter’s demise.
Following what authorities claim was a campaign of “serious and repeated violence,” Sharif was discovered dead in August 2023 at her home in Woking, a place southwest of London.
At the beginning of the trial, prosecutor Bill Emlyn Jones informed jurors that Sara had sustained numerous injuries, such as bite marks and burns.
