A pamphlet educating the populace on how to prepare and deal in the case of war or some unforeseen calamity will begin to be sent to millions of Swedes on Monday.
Due to what the Swedish government refers to as the “deteriorating security situation,” which includes Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the phrase “in case of crisis or war” has been revised from six years ago. Additionally, the booklet is twice as large.
Finland, a neighbor, has released new guidelines on its own website about “preparing for incidents and crises.”
Additionally, Norwegians recently received a brochure advising them to be ready to survive for a week on their own in the event of severe weather, conflict, or other emergencies.
