After an eight-year-old child and her father were seriously injured in a double gunshot into a car, a 22-year-old male was taken into custody on charges of attempted murder.
After the shooting on Southern Row in Ladbroke Grove at around 17:30 GMT on Sunday, they were both rushed to the hospital and are still in a serious but stable condition, according to the Metropolitan Police.
There were “serious gunshot injuries” to both victims. While the girl is undergoing surgery, her 34-year-old father is suffering from potentially fatal injuries.
Despite being in the car, her two-year-old sibling and their 32-year-old mother were “thankfully unharmed,” Supt. Owen Renowden told reporters.
