According to South Africa’s police minister, the country’s most recent crime figures refute allegations of a genocide targeting white people.
During an unprecedented meeting with his South African counterpart Cyril Ramaphosa on Wednesday, US President Donald Trump emphasized the widely discredited accusation.
Ramaphosa was informed by Trump that white farmers in South Africa were being “persecuted” and killed.
Senzo Mchunu, the minister of police in South Africa, stated on Friday that five of the six individuals slain on farms between January and March were Black, while one was White.
