Senator Faisal Vawda has stated that the former ruling “is going to be banned” in response to the recent “violence” in the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) three-day demonstration, which was unexpectedly called off in the early hours of Wednesday.
He stated on Wednesday’s “Capital Talk” show on News that “[Khyber Pakhtunkhwa] Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur will not be arrested, but Bushra Bibi [Imran Khan’s wife] will.”
After the Imran Khan-founded party postponed its scheduled protest sit-in due to skirmishes with police forces in Islamabad in the early hours of Wednesday, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) decided to file a motion in the Balochistan Assembly calling for a ban on PTI.
