Faisal Chaudhry, the attorney for imprisoned party founder Imran Khan, has criticized former National Assembly deputy speaker Qasim Suri for making false tweets regarding the ousted premier’s health issues as the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) experiences internal divisions after a “do-or-die” protest.
Speaking on the news show “Aaj Shahzeb Kay Sath,” the attorney stated that before making a remark on the imprisoned party founder, any PTI leader, including Qasim Suri, must confer with the party’s top leadership.
That Suri’s tweets made it “more difficult for people sitting here” was Chaudhry’s next statement.
“Imran Khan has been given something that threatens to disrupt his mental balance, locked in a small room and sprayed with,” the former NA deputy speaker said in a post on his official X handle.
