ISLAMABAD: According to a highly-placed government source, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif was updated about the events of the recent meeting between PTI leaders and Army Chief General Asim Munir.
The premier was informed about the topics covered at the meeting, according to the source, who was contacted by The News to find out if the premier was aware of the recent exchange between the PTI leaders and the COAS.
The source claims that the PM was informed that no exclusive meeting between the army chief and PTI leaders was planned. It was said that during the law and order conference with various political heavyweights.
