After losing the second one-day international on Sunday, Pakistan captain Muhammad Rizwan admitted that they were having trouble with the fifth bowler and stated that they will make a last-minute choice over their lineup for Tuesday’s series finale.
In a rain-shortened encounter, Pakistan, who had won the first ODI by five wickets, managed a respectable 171-7 in 37 overs, but the West Indies triumphed by five wickets to tie the series at one.
Salman Agha and Saim Ayub, Pakistan’s part-time bowling duo, gave up 66 runs between them in seven overs without a wicket as the West Indies easily won.
“You could say our fifth bowler gave away too many runs, but in recent years, Salman and Saim have both bowled well for us,” Rizwan said following the match.
