On Tuesday, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari urged the federal movement led by the PML-N to declare a new National Finance Commission (NFC) award for allocating funds between the provinces and the center.
Speaking to reporters in Hyderabad, the PPP leader insisted that the federal government call an NFC meeting right away and declare a fresh prize.
“We have already assigned responsibilities to the provincial governments, but the NFC Award remains unchanged,” he said.
PM Shehbaz promised on June 3 that the NFC award’s inaugural meeting will take place in August of this year.
The PPP leader emphasized that the provinces shouldn’t bear the brunt of the federal government’s shortcomings.
