KARACHI: American Onijah Andrew Robinson found herself in a dire situation in Pakistan after falling in love with a Karachi teen.
Captivated by the promise of love, the 33-year-old traveled from New York to Karachi, only to be left stranded when the romance failed.
Sources claim that Robinson entered Karachi on October 11, 2024, with a 30-day tourist visa. Robinson was unable to leave the country because she overstayed and her visa expired during her stay.
After interacting with Nidal Ahmed Memon, 19, of Garden West, Karachi, on social media, Robinson ‘fell in love’ with him and traveled from New York to Pakistan with the intention of marrying him.
