In the Ramzan Sugar Mills corruption case, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and his son, Hamza Shehbaz, were cleared by a Lahore anti-corruption court, which found no evidence to support their conviction.
The prosecution failed to provide solid evidence against the accused, according to Judge Sardar Iqbal Dogar’s 12-page detailed ruling.
In its ruling, the court emphasized that there was no evidence of financial misconduct in the building of a drainage system connected to the sugar mill.
The decision made clear that the complainant never submitted a request to the NAB against Hamza Shehbaz or Shehbaz Sharif.
Additionally, the project was approved and carried out in accordance with all legal criteria, and the anti-corruption authorities were unable to find any abnormalities.
