RAWALPINDI: The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) announced Thursday that an army major and another security guard were killed during an operation in the Mastung district of Balochistan.
According to a statement from the military’s media arm, the event happened on Wednesday while the security forces were carrying out an intelligence-based operation in the district in response to reports of terrorists from Fitna al-Hindustan, an Indian proxy.
According to the military’s media wing, three terrorists were sent to hell after Pakistani troops successfully engaged their location during the operation.
But in the midst of the fierce gunfight, Khushab resident Major Zeeyyad Salim Awal, 31, was a valiant officer commanding his troops from the front.
