President Asif Ali Zardari has praised China’s impressive ascent and development on the international scene, saying that the world shouldn’t be afraid of Beijing’s display of progress.
President Zardari emphasized that he was greatly pleased by Beijing’s rapid progress and change over the past few decades in an interview with the Chinese state media during his five-day visit to the nation.
“China has never occupied a territory. [….] Therefore, why should a neighbor who is aware that Chinese people do not seek to meddle in other nations be afraid? China will never frighten me,” the president declared.
“I would be scared of another country but not China,” he stated.
