RAWALPINDI: At the gate of Adiala jail, a brawl broke out between Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Barrister Shoaib Shaheen and former federal minister Fawad Chaudhry.
The altercation took place at the prison’s Gate No. 5.
After Chaudhry referred to Shaheen as a “tout,” according to sources, the latter told Chaudhry to keep his mouth shut.
When Chaudhry slapped Shaheen, he fell to the ground and hurt his arm, which inflamed the incident. After the altercation, the jail superintendent called Shaheen inside, and the former minister returned to the prison grounds.
Speaking about the event, PTI employee Nadia Khattak stated that although arguments were common, physical violence shouldn’t have happened.
