ISLAMABAD: According to party sources, Imran Khan, the founder of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has decided to expel the lawmakers from the party who did not attend the parliament session to pass the 26th Constitutional Amendment. The former prime minister reportedly issued directives from the jail for the expulsion of the MPs, and the party issued a notification accordingly. MNAs Aslam Ghuman, Riaz Fatyana, Zain Qureshi, Miqdad Ali Khan, and Aurangzeb Kachhi were also given show-cause notices for their absence on the day of the 26th Constitutional Amendment, but Qureshi will reportedly not be notified that the lawmakers’ party membership will be terminated.
