Brady Corbet has revealed that he has not made any money on The Brutalist, his ten-time Oscar 2025 nominee.
The filmmaker openly discussed the difficulties he encountered while making the epic period-drama film in an interview with the WTF with Marc Maron podcast.
The American director started off by disclosing his entire revenues from his picture, stating that he “made zero dollars on the last two films that we made.”
“Yes,” he added, “the story was written by him and his wife, Mona Fastvold. Zero, actually. We were forced to make do with a paycheck from three years prior.
