The Punjab Police and the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) were praised by Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi for their successful operation against terrorists in the Makarwal neighborhood of Mianwali, calling it a “significant success” in the ongoing war against terrorism.
The interior minister praised the courageous members of the Punjab Police and CTD who killed over ten terrorists in a high-stakes operation in a statement released from Islamabad.
According to him, the operation sent a strong message to all anti-state actors scheming to undermine national security and peace, in addition to being a tactical success.
