Pakistan and China reaffirmed their strong commitment to maintaining regional peace and stability on Sunday, amid the lingering tensions between Islamabad and New Delhi following the Pahalgam attack.
The development occurred when China’s Foreign Minister Wang Yi was updated on the present state of affairs in the region by Senator Ishaq Dar, the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, over the phone.
Along with opposing unilateralism and hegemonic approaches, the two leading diplomats urged the advancement of respect and understanding between people.
Pakistan has contacted friendly nations like Saudi Arabia, Iran, and Egypt in addition to China to inform them of the situation following the tragic incident in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIJOJK) that claimed the lives of 26 tourists.
